21 artisan bakers, the best from our regions, came to Paris during the week of the 2026 bread festival, on the square in front of Notre-Dame, to take part in three days of competition.

On the 3-day programme: 2 days of semi-finals and 1 grand final

  • Day 1: 11 candidates (Monday evening and Tuesday): 3 selected for the final
  • D2: 10 candidates (Tuesday evening and Wednesday): 3 selected for the final
  • D3: the final for just 6 candidates (Wednesday evening and Thursday)

On the previous Sunday, candidates from the Ile-de-France region took part in the competition. The bakers' federation is taking advantage of this wonderful bread festival to select its two candidates for the national final.

Clément Poncet and Frédéric Boulay were able to represent their region, and we were delighted to see our customer from Beaumont-sur-Oise take 1st place on the national podium.
