17 Foricher customers with the BAGATELLE® label honoured in Strasbourg
On 15 June, as part of BAGATELLE® Day in Strasbourg, several bakers involved in the initiative were honoured during a particularly symbolic event: the official presentation of the BAGATELLE® jackets, and amongst them were 17 customers of Foricher Les Moulins.
Why is this handover important?
It symbolises the culmination of meticulous work to certify their traditional French baguette, the only one of its kind Bagatelle® Label Rouge traditional French baguette.
And according to Yvon Foricher, president of Club Bagatelle®: “Joining and embracing the Bagatelle approach means taking part in a competition every day.”
Bruno Cormerais, patron and ambassador for the initiative
A leading figure in French baking, and winner of the Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) title for Baking in 2004, Bruno Cormerais has been supporting BAGATELLE® for several years as a patron and ambassador.
Recognised by both industry professionals and the general public, he holds a special place in the world of artisan baking. His reputation also makes him a leading figure for younger generations of bakers, for whom he embodies the high standards, the passing on of tradition and the passion for the craft.
Through his expertise, his high technical standards and his dedication to his craft, he fully embodies the values of this approach: passing on knowledge, excellence and respect for the product.
His presence at the event in Strasbourg that day lent it a special significance, particularly during the jacket-presentation ceremony.
A highly symbolic handover of a jacket
The BAGATELLE® jacket is not just any old jacket. It symbolises membership of a community of bakers united by a shared commitment: to promote the traditional French baguette.
